Lia Rodriguez, MSW, is a bilingual professional with extensive experience in social work and Medicaid program operations. They served as a Medical Social Worker at the Texas Department of State Health Services from 2012 to 2016 and later as a Senior Care Coordinator at Magellan Health in 2019. Currently, Lia is the Lead Business Consultant in Medicaid Business Development at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, a role they have held since 2016. Lia holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they focused on direct practice with children and families, alongside ongoing studies in social work and the arts at the same institution and McLennan Community College.
