Suraj Chandrakant Patel, PE, is a Senior Staff Civil Engineer at Bloom Energy, where they utilize their extensive engineering skills. They previously served as a Structural Designer and Project Engineer at Holmes, contributing to a variety of projects from schematic design to construction administration. Suraj is also an adjunct lecturer at City Tech, CUNY, teaching undergraduate students about the principles of structures while receiving high evaluations for their teaching effectiveness. Additionally, they hold leadership roles in the UCLA Engineering Alumni Association and the UCLA Civil Engineering Department Alumni Advisory Board, fostering community engagement and professional development. Suraj earned a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
