Vanessa Simpson, MBA, CAMS, CFE, currently serves as the Head of Quality Management, Risk Operations at Block since 2025. Previously, Vanessa worked as a Compliance Lead at Cash App from 2021 to 2025 and held various positions at JPMorgan Chase, including Compliance Officer in US AML Investigations from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Vanessa was a Quality Assurance Manager at USAA from 2020 to 2021. Vanessa is also a Board Member of the ACAMS Central Texas Chapter since 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Western Governors University.
