Caroline Chard is the EMEA Investments COO at BlackRock, having previously served as a Portfolio Manager from 2013 to 2021, where they managed LDI portfolios and played a key role in diversity and inclusion initiatives. They are currently on a sailing sabbatical that began in 2021, navigating the Atlantic Loop to develop skills in teamwork and problem-solving. Caroline earned a BSc Hons in Mathematics from the University of Durham, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to BlackRock, they held various roles as a Risk Analyst in the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Coutts.
