Gerald Freeman is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Blackbaud since June 2005, specializing in developing a modern email solution with an Angular-based email designer and .NET Core backend services hosted in Azure. Previously, Gerald served as a consultant at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics at VCU for a brief period in early 2011, where efforts focused on creating an application with C# and the WiimoteLib library for research data collection. Earlier experience includes an internship at COSS Development Corporation from December 2003 to April 2005, contributing to a custom form designer for insurance companies. Gerald holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from North Carolina State University, completed between 2001 and 2005.
