Mary Barnes-Tilley, Ph.D., is currently serving as the Interim Vice-President for Instruction and Chief Academic Officer at Black Hawk College since 2025. Previously, from 2003 to 2014, they held various positions at Blinn College, including Division Chair, Assistant Instructional Dean of Social Sciences, and Government Professor. They furthered their career at Collin College from 2017 to 2018, where they served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Campus Provost. Mary earned their education at Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 2016.
