Pedro Abreu is a highly experienced engineering manager with a strong background in operations and software development. Since January 2015, Pedro has served as an Engineering Manager at BitSight Technologies, initially leading software development teams and currently heading the Security Engineering team, where focus is on infrastructure and application security strategies as well as team development across diverse locations. Prior to this role, Pedro was a Senior DevOps Engineer at BitSight, having joined through the acquisition of AnubisNetworks, where Pedro co-founded and served as the Director of Operations from December 2005 to January 2015. At AnubisNetworks, Pedro established key business functions and managed infrastructure globally. Earlier in the career, Pedro worked as a System Administrator at Telecel, providing essential support for the first free-access Internet Service provider in Portugal. Pedro holds a degree from Instituto Superior Técnico earned between 1996 and 2001.
