Hector Ortega Arellano holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and has a rich background in research and development. They began their career as a Microbiologist at Hospital Local de Puerto Nariño from 2008 to 2009 and contributed to the Grupo de Neurociencias de Antioquia from 2009 to 2019. Currently, Hector serves as the Scientific Leader at bioXtech's Cell Bank and as the Administrative and Research Leader at bioXcellerator since 2019. They earned their degree from Universidad de AntioquÃa, graduating in 2008.
