Priya Kempanna is currently an Application Scientist at BioSolveIT, where responsibilities include studying molecular docking scoring functions, developing analysis pipelines for Protein-Ligand complexes, and providing technical support on high-performance computing software. Previously, Priya served as a Student Assistant, focusing on evaluating external software features and conducting benchmarking studies. Priya also completed a Research Internship at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine, contributing to the development of Mtb GlmU inhibitors and assisting with molecular dynamics runs. A Summer Internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras involved research in network pharmacology and enzymatic assays. Priya holds a Master of Science in Life Science Informatics from The University of Bonn and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Dayananda Sagar Institutions.
