Sally McLellan GAICD is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in employee relations and human resources, currently serving as the Head of Employee Relations for BHP’s Minerals Australia division since May 2011. In this leadership role, Sally McLellan oversees all collective employee relations and industrial relations matters, developing regional strategies to navigate complex industrial challenges. Previously, Sally McLellan held key positions at BHP, including Employee Relations Manager for Coal, Principal Employee Relations, and Superintendent Site Systems, contributing significantly to enterprise bargaining negotiations, dispute management, and employee governance. Additionally, Sally McLellan has experience as a Non-Executive Director and Board Secretary at East Coast Apprenticeships and has held legal positions, including Lawyer at Holding Redlich. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, and completion of the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
