Russell Johnson is a discovery-focused geologist with extensive experience in exploration and team management. They earned a Bachelor's degree and a BSc Honours in Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by a Master's degree in Geology and a Master's in Mining Engineering, achieving distinction. In their previous roles, Russell contributed as a Senior Exploration Geologist at The MSA Group and as a Senior Structural Geologist at De Beers Group, interpreting structural and tectonic data to enhance exploration decisions. Currently, they serve as a Principal Geoscientist at BHP.
