Rob Hawkins is the Head of DC Government Relations at BerlinRosen, where they lead the firm's municipal lobbying practice focused on advocating for clients before the DC government. Previously, they served as a partner and chair of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s District of Columbia Government Relations Practice, providing strategic counsel in government relations and public affairs. Hawkins has held various roles in the Executive Office of the Mayor of Washington, DC, including Communications Director and Deputy Chief of Staff, and has a strong background in legislative communication across multiple committees within the Council of the District of Columbia. They earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Virginia Tech.
