Mike Szacik is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in database engineering and administration. Currently serving as the Director of Database Engineering at BECU since August 2005, Mike has progressed through various roles within the company, including Senior Manager and Manager of Database Engineering. Prior to BECU, Mike worked at Lockheed Martin Information Technology as an Oracle DBA, supporting a diverse range of Oracle applications. Earlier in Mike's career, experience included an IT Analyst role at Safeco, where responsibilities encompassed leading EDI and 1099 reporting systems. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Eastern Washington University, earned in 1989.
