Doug Knapke is a Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the refining industry. He has worked in various roles in his career, including process engineering supervisor, design engineer for a major refinery revamp, planning & economics engineer, and even as refinery board operator during a labor dispute. In his career, he has led many improvement initiatives including the design of a new refinery organizational structure, PSM gap closure, energy management and a multitude of troubleshooting exercises. Doug’s mission is to empower others to reach their maximum potential through a combination of leadership and knowledge acquisition.
Doug holds a BS degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Ohio State University.
