Mike Matson is a Partner and Associate Director in Low Carbon Solutions at Boston Consulting Group, where they serve as the Global Lead of Geothermal. Currently, Mike is actively involved as an Advisory Board Member at multiple organizations, including Oxylus Energy and Critical Energy, while also holding a Non-Resident Fellow position at the Payne Institute for Public Policy. Previously, Mike held academic roles at Rice University and the University of Houston-Downtown, and contributed to various projects in the energy sector, including as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Oxy. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors from the United States Naval Academy.
