Danielle Sayers-Jimeno is a proud Métis Nation British Columbia citizen who has worked with children and families since 1991, including over 25 years as an organizational lead. With a Bachelor's in Child and Youth Care specializing in Early Years from the University of Victoria and a diploma in Early Childhood Education, Danielle has significant experience supporting neuro-diverse children and those with complex trauma histories. Currently, Danielle serves as the Director of Early Learning at Métis Nation British Columbia and is an active member of the Provincial Child Care Council. They have also been involved in various research initiatives and have received the Prime Minister's Award of Excellence in Early Childhood Education. Danielle resides in Surrey, acknowledging the traditional lands of several First Nations.
