Lin Tan is currently the Sr. Principal Engineer for Process Safety at Air Products since 2020, where they lead the overall process safety for mega projects in the energy industry. Lin has over 14 years of experience in plant and process safety, including roles at Bayer from 2008 to 2020, where they served as Head of Process & Plant Safety APAC PHCH and Senior PPS Expert. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, both from East China University of Science and Technology. Lin is extensively involved in national legislation and international standards development related to process safety and explosion safety.
