Dr. Birte Zimmermann is currently the VP and Head of Pharmacovigilance Strategy & Business Operations at Bayer, where they have held various leadership roles since 2022. They previously contributed to organizations such as Accenture Strategy as a Manager from 2015 to 2020 and gained early experience in research and internships across multiple companies, including Airbus and Porsche Consulting Group. Dr. Zimmermann holds a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the European Business School Oestrich-Winkel and a Diplom in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Logistics and Process Engineering from Universität Bremen.
