Rosa Hamalainen is currently the VP of Growth & Strategy at Basil Systems and serves as an angel investor and advisor for various startups. Previously, they co-founded Rupa Health, fostering its growth to over $80 million in annual revenue before its acquisition by Fullscript in 2024. Rosa gained substantial research experience as a Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Engineering, where they published work in the Journal of the Royal Society and earned accolades at the World Congress of Biomechanics. They have also contributed to TeachAids, helping to develop educational resources on concussion awareness. Rosa is pursuing a degree in Product Design Engineering at Stanford University.
