Stefan Engel is currently the Director of Industrial Hygiene at BASF SE, where they are committed to protecting the quality of life of the BASF workforce. They previously served as Director of Hazardous Chemicals Management and held roles as a Senior Research Scientist and Team Manager in Process Development. Stefan began their career at BASF SE after completing a PhD and a Master of Science in Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, where they studied from 1985 to 1994.
