Christopher Benninger is currently the Vice President of Trait Research in Agricultural Solutions at BASF, where they lead teams focused on innovative solutions that meet business and customer needs. With extensive experience in project and portfolio management, Christopher has successfully overseen the development of commercial field crop products and managed large R&D teams across various projects. Previously, they held roles at BASF ranging from Assistant Scientist to Team Leader in Industrial Biotechnology and DNA Analytics, where they significantly enhanced project workflows and capacity. Christopher is pursuing a B.S. in Microbiology at Penn State University and studying Immunology at Duke University, complementing a Master's in Microbiology from North Carolina State University.
