Janet Lam Chen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President and Director of Client Service at Baron Capital since October 2014. Prior to this role, Janet held positions as Assistant Vice President in Institutional Sales & Service and as an Investment Analyst focused on Distribution Analytics at Fred Alger Management from May 2008 to October 2014. Earlier experience includes working as an Investment Analyst at Citi Private Bank from April 2006 to May 2008, where responsibilities included investment strategy development. Janet earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from both Barnard College and Columbia University, along with a minor in Art History. Additionally, Janet participated in an Advanced Chinese Language Program at Beijing Language and Culture University during the summer of 2004. Janet is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science.
