Melissa Hardisty is currently the Chief of Staff to the Group General Counsel at Barclays, having transitioned into this role in 2024. Previously, they served as a Vice President in Cash Management Legal at Barclays Corporate Banking from 2010 to 2022. Melissa began their legal career as a Trainee and later became an Associate at Clifford Chance LLP between 2005 and 2007. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and a Legal Practice Course qualification from Nottingham Law School.
