Gena Huidong Wang, PhD, CFA, is currently a Managing Director of Biotech Equity Research at Barclays, a role they have held since 2017. Prior to this, Gena served as a Senior Vice President in the same field at Jefferies from 2015 to 2017 and held various analyst positions at Rodman & Renshaw, JMP Group LLC, and Leerink Partners LLC between 2009 and 2015. Gena earned a BS in Biology and Biotechnology from Zhejiang University and advanced degrees in Medical Genetics, Molecular and Cell Biology, and Molecular Neuro-Oncology from Shanghai Second Medical University, SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and Rockefeller University, respectively.
