Amol Prabhu is a global banking executive with over 25 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investment, and Corporate Banking across EMEA and Asia. Currently serving as the CEO of South Africa and Head of Private Banking for Africa at Barclays, Amol leads a team of over 75 professionals, driving strategic initiatives and fostering high performance. Previously, Amol held various senior roles at Linklaters and Barclays, including Head of Africa at Barclays International, where Amol launched and managed Investment and Corporate Banking businesses. Amol is also an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and actively contributes to the Advisory Board of the Green Investment Principles (Africa Chapter) and the British Chamber of Business for Southern Africa. Amol earned a First Class Honours degree from the University of Cambridge.
