Eva Montoro Candela is currently the Global Head of Data, Analytics, and AI at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking and has been recognized as the Premio CIONET CDO of the Year 2023. From 2013 to 2019, Eva held several leadership roles within Santander, including Head of Data Governance and Data Quality Intelligence and Managing Director of Advanced Analytics & Data Science. Eva served as an IT Project Manager and Head of the Strategic Risk Management team at Banesto from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Eva has been an Associate Professor at AULA MAGNA Business School and CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros and has participated in coaching at various educational institutions. Eva holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
