Nilia Salazar is currently the Region Service Delivery Technical Manager for MENAT & India at Baker Hughes, specializing in drilling and reservoir drill-in fluids. With a foundational BSc in Chemistry from Universidad Simon Bolivar and an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, Nilia has cultivated extensive expertise as a Chemist. Previously, Nilia held various roles at Baker Hughes, including R&D Manager and Laboratory Scientist, and worked as a Consultant at IESL, where they developed rheological correlations for heavy-oil crude. Their career began as a Researcher at PDVSA Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. from 1995 to 2003.
