Heshan Samararatne is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the banking and fintech sectors. Currently serving as Technical Manager for Backbase in the EMEA region, Heshan drives digital transformation for banking clients by delivering strategic technical solutions. Previously, as Head of Technology at Dialog Finance PLC, innovative digital initiatives and operational excellence were prioritized, while roles at DFCC Bank PLC and Nations Trust Bank PLC focused on IT system management and business alignment. Heshan began his career at Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd, gaining foundational banking experience.
