Darren Gros is a seasoned law enforcement and training professional with extensive experience at Axon since January 2015, serving as a Senior Master Instructor and Contractor specializing in Taser Weapons, Virtual Reality, and Body-Worn Cameras. Concurrently, Darren has held the position of Captain and Director of Training at St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office since July 2006, overseeing the Training Division and managing operations for various training programs, including a Regional POST Academy. With a rich history of service including roles as an Honor Guard member, SWAT Entry Team Operator, and Detective Sergeant, Darren has demonstrated expertise in criminal investigations, special operations, and police training methodologies. Educational credentials include completion of the Leadership Program at National Command and Staff College and POST certification from Louisiana State University. Additionally, Darren is currently enrolled in Louisiana Law Enforcement training.
