Sean Sullivan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and technology law. At Butterfly Network, Inc., as Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property from March 2016 to November 2020, Sean saved the company significant costs while protecting critical innovations and facilitating major financing rounds. Prior roles include Associate Attorney and Partner at Cantor Colburn LLP, where Sean prepared and prosecuted a substantial number of patent applications in various technologies. As Assistant General Counsel at 4Catalyzer, Sean significantly reduced legal spending and contributed to substantial investor value during public offerings. Sean holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, and currently serves as Vice President, Chief Patent Counsel at Axcelis Technologies.
