Wouter Haak is the Global Chief Underwriting Officer (GCUO) for Construction and Energy at AXA XL, a position held since 2022. Previously, they worked at XL Insurance in various roles, culminating as Property Underwriting Manager for the Benelux and France regions and also served as Property Underwriting Manager at XL Insurance Company Ltd. Their career began at Stork Engineers and Contractors as a Design and Field/Construction Engineer from 1991 to 1997. Wouter holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft, completed in 1990.
