Kapila M. is currently an Avanade STEM Scholar at Avanade, involved in support and mentorship programs for STEM scholars since May 2023. Previous experience includes a User Research Internship at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, where empirical research on interactive cyber-physical communication systems was conducted from May to August 2025. Kapila has also worked as a Junior Designer and Teaching Assistant at New Jersey Institute of Technology from January 2023 to May 2025, focusing on revamping UI for the schedule builder website and assisting in curriculum development for several courses. Additionally, Kapila has interned as a UX/UI intern at Thrivio Healthcare and was part of the IBM Accelerate Design Track, selected among the top 5% of applicants for an intensive 8-week program. Education is being pursued at New Jersey Institute of Technology, working towards a Bachelor of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, expected May 2026.
