Anne-Marie Dempsey has extensive legal experience across various sectors, beginning with a foundational role at Matheson from 1998 to 2007, where progression from Trainee to Associate Solicitor occurred. During a secondment from 2004 to 2007, Anne-Marie served as Parliamentary Legal Adviser for the Houses of the Oireachtas. Following this, Anne-Marie worked as International Legal Counsel Ireland at Shire Pharmaceuticals until May 2015 and subsequently fulfilled a Senior Legal Counsel position at Horizon Therapeutics from April 2021 to October 2023. Currently, Anne-Marie holds the position of General Counsel at Automata, starting in June 2024, and also served as Senior Legal Counsel at Amgen for a brief tenure until June 2024. Anne-Marie's educational background includes degrees from University College Dublin and Independent College Dublin, along with professional qualifications from the Law Society of Ireland and the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
