Dr. Carolyn Deuchar is the Associate Director and Senior Research Fellow at the New Zealand Tourism Research Institute at Auckland University of Technology, where they have worked since 2005. With over 20 years of experience in the New Zealand tourism industry, Carolyn specializes in capacity building and the effective application of new technologies within the sector. They have taught various courses at pre-degree, undergraduate, and post-graduate levels, and have expertise in eLearning. Carolyn has collaborated on numerous commercial research and evaluation projects internationally and is dedicated to enhancing local economies and visitor destinations.
