Helen Woodhouse has extensive experience in library management, currently serving as the Community Library Manager at Takapuna Library under Auckland City Council since November 2010. In this role, responsibilities include excellent customer service delivery, team leadership, staff development, budget management, and maintaining building upkeep while fostering community relations. Prior to this, Helen was the Takapuna Library Manager at North Shore City Council for twenty years, contributing to strategy and policy, staff training, and fundraising initiatives. Helen's career in library services began as the Associate City Librarian at Takapuna City Council, where significant achievements included implementing a library computer system and planning for a new library building. Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Victoria University of Wellington.
