Yaron Koral is the Lead Inventive Scientist at AT&T, having previously served as a Principal Inventive Scientist from 2016 to 2021. They have extensive experience in software engineering and network security, beginning their career as a software developer in the Israeli Defense Forces from 1997 to 2014, where they held various roles including R&D team leader and program manager. Yaron earned a PhD in Computer Science and has a strong academic foundation that includes multiple degrees from Tel Aviv University and Reichman University. They have also conducted postdoctoral research at Princeton University, focusing on programming languages for network functions and DDoS attack mitigation. In recognition of their work, Yaron received the Israeli Defense Award in 2011.
