Gene Monago is currently the Vice President of Plant Operations & Maintenance at Atrium Health, a position held since 2018. They previously served as Assistant Vice President of Support Services at the same organization from 2008 to 2018, and as Senior Director at Fauquier Hospital from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their corporate roles, Gene is a Life Safety Code Surveyor for The Joint Commission since 2010, conducting accreditation surveys with a focus on Life Safety and Environment of Care. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Akron.
