Somashekar Chandrappa is a seasoned professional in software engineering with extensive experience in the development of medical devices and multimedia systems. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Software for Invasive and non-invasive Medical Devices at ATONARP since September 2015, Somashekar has held various significant roles such as Principal Engineer and Technical Lead, focusing on in-vitro diagnostics and firmware development for complex systems. Previous experience includes senior engineering positions at Samsung Research India, where Somashekar contributed to the development of the first-generation Wearable SoC, and Texas Instruments, where optimization of multimedia and camera firmware was achieved. Somashekar began the professional journey as a Design Engineer at Federal Technologies after obtaining an MTech degree in Digital Electronics and Advanced Communication from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
