James Barr is the Chief Engineering Geologist at ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ¸éé²¹±ô¾±²õ, a position held since 2025. They previously served as an Associate Engineering Geologist at Atkins Ground Engineering and Tunnelling from 2021 to 2025 and held several roles at Atkins from 2018 to 2021, including Principal Engineering Geologist. Earlier in their career, James was an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer at Norwest Holst Soil Engineering in 2005 and an Assistant Geologist at Hanson from 2003 to 2004. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from the University of Exeter and the University of Leeds, respectively, and they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Geology.
