Edward Gunby has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Edward started their career as an intern at Henderson Global Investors in 2012. Edward then joined Goldman Sachs in 2013 as a part of the European Insurance Research team. In 2015, they were promoted to Executive Director, European Insurance Research, and worked in that role until 2020. In 2020, Edward Gunby joined Athora as the Group Head of Strategy, New Business & Sustainability.
Edward Gunby has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program offered by the CFA Institute, allowing him to earn the title of Charterholder. Edward has also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of Bath. Additionally, they have undergone training in the Capital Markets Program conducted by The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
