Avin Shanbhag is currently a D&E Senior System Architect at ASML, specializing in value engineering and lifecycle cost management for photolithography machines. They previously held roles in leading technical projects at Philips, where they drove cost-reduction initiatives in new product introductions, and served as a Lead Engineer at VA TECH WABAG LTD. During their early career, Avin was a Research Assistant at Anna University Chennai, focusing on experimental studies in friction stir welding, and led the Society of Mechanical Engineers as a board member. Avin earned a Master’s degree in Management of Technology from Technische Universiteit Delft and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
