Craig Hurst has extensive experience in technical and managerial roles, primarily within the technology and defense sectors. Beginning a career in the British Army from March 1988 to July 2000, Craig transitioned to various positions at BT Group from March 2017 to March 2024, culminating as the Head Engineering Manager for Web & App. Here, Craig led a team of approximately 60 members to deliver impactful software solutions and oversaw planning, development, code quality, testing, and CI/CD processes. Additional roles at BT included supporting the NHS SPINE project as a 4th Line Database Developer and leading a global team of Database Administrators as the Head of Database Technologies. Prior to BT, Craig worked at EDS Technologies as a 3rd Line Support Database Developer for the DWP from March 1998 to March 2003. Currently, Craig serves as a Senior Group Technical Delivery Manager at Asda since June 2024.
