Laurie Simpson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as General Counsel at Artisan Partners since March 2011, Laurie's career progression includes roles as Deputy General Counsel and Associate Counsel within the same firm. Previously, Laurie held the position of Counsel at Invesco from 2007 to 2011 and began professional legal practice as an Associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd from 2003 to 2007. Laurie earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Vanderbilt Law School between 2000 and 2003 and holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Russian from Amherst College, completed in 1998.
