Fiona McDougall is currently the Interim Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Inland Rail and serves as General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer for the organization. Previously, they held various legal positions, including Associate General Counsel at Thiess and General Counsel at the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning. With a strong background in managing legal functions and negotiating contracts, Fiona has extensive experience in the telecommunications and infrastructure sectors. They earned degrees in Journalism and Law from the University of Queensland and Bond University, and completed a graduate program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2021.
