Maria Chedid is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in international arbitration. Currently serving as Partner and Global Chair of the International Arbitration Practice at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP since May 2018, Chedid has previously held roles as an International Commercial & Investment Arbitration Specialist at Arnold & Porter from September 2010 to February 2015 and as a Partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP from 1995 to 2010. Chedid earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law in 1993 and also holds a fellowship in International Legal Studies. Additionally, Chedid received a BA with Distinction in Philosophy from Barnard College, Columbia University, where recognition was received through the William Pepperell Montague Prize for promise of distinction in the field of philosophy.
