Sam Town is a chartered UK and European patent attorney specializing in electronics, telecommunications, computer architectures, integrated circuits, and computer software. They currently serve as a Principal Patent Attorney at Arm, a position held since 2015. Sam previously worked as a Senior Associate Patent Attorney and gained early experience through roles at Metaswitch Networks, Venner Shipley LLP, EIP, and Withers & Rogers LLP. They earned a PG Cert in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and a MEng in Electronic Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
