Maryl O'Connell is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the fashion industry. From February 2020 to August 2023, O'Connell served as Design Director for Denim & Workwear at Ariat International, previously holding roles as Senior Designer for both Men’s and Women’s Workwear and Men’s Denim. Prior experience includes time at The North Face from February 2013 to February 2020, where O'Connell executed high-profile collaborations and designed core women's outerwear. Earlier roles include Design Manager at Byrnt Organics, where O'Connell led the development of an organic denim and knit line, and Designer at Blue Marlin Clothing, focusing on revitalizing vintage-inspired knits. O'Connell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art and Architecture from UC Santa Barbara and a Professional Designation Degree in Fashion Design from FIDM.
