Guillaume Baron is currently the Head of Department for the Mechanical Design Office and has extensive experience in mechanical engineering. They began their career with an internship at Airbus Helicopters in 2008, followed by positions at DCNS and ALTEN, specializing in mechanical design and safety studies for lithium-ion batteries. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Safran HERAKLES, focusing on manufacturing tools for propulsion systems, and later led a team at ArianeGroup from 2014 to 2019, overseeing the design and implementation of production tools for solid propellant engines. Guillaume holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris and completed the ARIANEGROUP Junior Leader Programme at Sciences Po.
