Tyler Eastmond is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Assistant Beamline Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tyler completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University, where research focused on the material response of elastomers under extreme conditions and dynamic behavior under shock loading. Tyler also held a Graduate Research Internship at Argonne National Laboratory, contributing to the analysis of X-ray diffraction in amorphous materials, and gained diverse technical experience through roles as a math tutor, student technician, mechanical engineering intern, and lab technician intern across several institutions.
