Aoibheann Shiels is currently the Director of Manufacturing at Arc'teryx, where they previously served as Engineering Manager and Senior Manufacturing Manager. They have extensive experience in production engineering, having worked as a Product Engineering Manager at Photon Control and as a Senior Production Engineer. Aoibheann began their career as Lead Machine Operator and Production Coordinator at Doire Dress Designs Limited, where they enhanced the productivity of embroidery machines. They hold a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours from Queen's University Belfast, earned in 2013.
